LEGAL

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026 · beta version

⚠️ Preliminary document (beta), pending final legal review. It governs the conditions of beta access and will be replaced by the definitive version before commercial availability.

1. What Lacuna Lex is

Lacuna Lex is an adversarial legal-analysis tool: it stress-tests thesis, evidence, timeline, risk and strategy. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal services, does not issue a definitive opinion and does not replace the lawyer.

2. Technical responsibility

The lawyer using it is the technical authority and the one who signs the filings. The platform's outputs are decision support — they do not constitute legal advice or any guarantee of outcome. Every conclusion must be reviewed by the professional before any use in proceedings.

3. Acceptable use

The user agrees not to use the platform for unlawful purposes and is solely responsible for the content they submit. By submitting documents, the user represents they have a legal basis to process them and proper authorization when third-party data is involved.

4. Beta access

Current access is beta, with limited seats and a calibration purpose. It may contain flaws and there is no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may change.

5. Intellectual property

The platform, the brand and Lacuna Lex materials are owned by Lacuna. Content submitted by the user remains the user's property.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lacuna is not liable for decisions made based on the tool, nor for procedural outcomes. Technical responsibility and the final decision always rest with the lawyer.

7. Privacy and data

Personal data processing follows our Privacy Policy and the LGPD (Law 13.709/2018).

8. Changes, jurisdiction and contact

These terms may be updated; the current version is always available at this address. Questions: use our contact form.
